The Laidlaw Scholars Leadership and Research Programme is a two-year undergraduate programme founded by Scottish businessman and philanthropist, Lord Laidlaw funded through his Laidlaw Foundation.[1] Established in 2014, the programme funds two summer research projects and fosters leadership development over eighteen months for selected undergraduates at seventeen partner global universities. The programme selects up to 25 students from each member university annually based on their proposed research project, ethical leadership potential, and commitment to the Laidlaw Foundation's values.[1]
