Klintsovsky District (Russian: Клинцо́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,291.4 square kilometers (498.6 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Klintsy[1] (which is not administratively a part of the district).[4] Population: 17,163 (2021 Census);[7] 20,503 (2010 Russian census);[3] 23,581 (2002 Census);[8] 29,638 (1989 Soviet census).[9]
