Kisra of Baskinta information

Amir Kisra of Baskinta was a Maronite Muqaddam and Malik of Kisrawan, whose namesake comes from him,^[1] and later Malik of Mount Lebanon.

Ibn al-Qila'i states that the district, originally, was called simply al-Hariga, and that it was later renamed Kisrawan in honour of Kisra, its chieftain.
