Kim Chong Kwang (Korean: 김종광, born 1971, in Boryeong City (also known as Daecheon), South Chungcheong Province, South Korea.)[1] is a South Korean author.[2] Kim's writings are extremely diverse, encompassing multiple genres and audiences, ranging from children to adults. His novels are typically set in farming villages and he actively uses the regional dialect from his hometown of the South Chungcheong Province, highlighting his writing's use of witty dialogue. His writings preserve the characters’ direct styles of speech to their fullest extent and directly express the voices of society's minority groups.
