Dame Julia Stretton HigginsDBE FRS FREng HonFInstP (née Downes; born 1 July 1942) is a British polymer scientist. Since 1976 she has been based at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, where (since 2007) she is emeritus professor and senior research investigator.[1][3][4][5][6][7]
