Jorge Haddock Acevedo (Spanish:[ˈxoɾxeˈxaðokaseˈβeðo]; born 15 August 1955) is a Puerto Rican engineer and academic administrator serving as the president of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR). On July 7, 2021, the Governing Board of the UPR unanimously requested his resignation and his term ended on July 31, 2021 .[1]
