Jitendra Satish Awhad is an Indian politician from Maharashtra currently He is Deputy Leader of the Opposition Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Serving with Ajay Choudhari and currently a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for 3 terms representing Mumbra-Kalwa in Thane. he has previously served as the Acting Leader of the Opposition Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and He has previously served as Cabinet Minister of Medical Education and Horticulture in 2014 and Housing and Minority Affairs from 2019 to 2022. He belongs to the Nationalist Congress Party.[2]
