John Bartholomew (20 January 1888[1] – 14 July 1965[2]) was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s, 1910s and 1920s. He played at representative level for Great Britain (non-Test matches), and at club level for Morecambe, Huddersfield and Bradford Northern as a fullback, wing, centre or stand-off.[3] Jack Bartholomew was the uncle of the comedian Eric Morecambe (real name John Eric Bartholomew).[4]
