Issam Sartawi (Arabic: عصام السرطاوي; 1935 – 10 April 1983) was a senior member of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).[1] He was assassinated on 10 April 1983.[2]
He is remembered for his "moderate" stance within the PLO and his participation in dialogues with Israeli counterparts.[3]
