Ice hockey at the 2009 Winter Universiade comprised two ice hockey tournaments – a men's tournament and a women's tournament – during the Harbin 2009 edition of the Universiade. Both tournaments were hosted in Harbin, China and began on 18 February 2009. The event featured the inaugural women's ice hockey tournament at the Winter Universiade – the men's ice hockey tournament was first introduced in 1962.[1]
