Hollywood Motion Picture and Television Museum information
The Hollywood Motion Picture and Television Museum was a museum project proposed in the early 1960s and planned to be built on a 4-acre site directly across from the Hollywood Bowl on Highland Ave. It acquired a significant collection of film and television artifacts which remain available, held by the Margaret Herrick Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences,[1] and partly or wholly duplicated at three other institutions.
