The Highway Act 1835[1][2] (5 & 6 Will. 4. c. 50) is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was one of the Highway Acts 1835 to 1885.[3]
Most of the Act has been repealed; as of 2023[update], only three sections remain in force.[4]
^This short title was conferred on this Act by section 1 of the Highway Act 1864 (27 & 28 Vict. c. 101).
^The citation of this Act by this short title was authorised by the Short Titles Act 1896, section 1 and the first schedule. Due to the repeal of those provisions it is now authorised by section 19(2) of the Interpretation Act 1978.
