Hennadiy Petrovych Vorobiov (Ukrainian: Геннадій Петрович Воробйов; 25 June 1961 – 11 February 2017) was a Ukrainian Colonel general and Commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine from November 2009 to January 2014.[1]
According to Mark Hertling, Vorobiov played an important role in the modernization of the Ukrainian ground forces, improving their performance in the Russo-Ukrainian War and 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[2]
