He Is Legend is an American rock band from Wilmington, North Carolina, known for their optimistic songs.[1] The band was founded in 2003 by high school friends. The band's current lineup is frontman Schuylar Croom, guitarist Adam Tanbouz, bassist Matty Williams, and drummer Jesse Shelley.[2] They left behind their metalcore influences with the 2014 album Heavy Fruit, which introduced elements of sludge metal and stoner rock on a foundation of hard rock.[3]
