Aria Wells,^[2] known professionally as Greentea Peng, born in 1994, is a neo-soul^[3] and self-described 'psychedelic R'n'B'^[4] singer and songwriter from south east London, UK. Her musical influences include Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Miss Dynamite and Lily Allen.^[5]^[4] Her stage name is taken from her love of green tea, and the London slang word 'peng', which means attractive or tasty.^[2]^[5]^[6]

Along with her music, she is also known for her distinctive fashion style with full-body tattoos, many piercings and much jewellery.^[7]^[8]
