The Grand Kremlin Palace (Russian: Большой Кремлёвский дворец, romanized: Bolshoy Kremlyovskiy dvorets)[1] is a building in the Moscow Kremlin. For much of the 19th century, it served as the official residence of the Russian emperor in Moscow. Designed by a team of architects under the management of Konstantin Thon (the architect of the Kremlin Armoury and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour), the palace was intended to emphasise the greatness of Russian autocracy.
As of 2024, the Grand Kremlin Palace serves as the official working residence of the president of Russia; it also houses a museum.
