Gloria Guinness (née Rubio y Alatorre; 27 August 1912 – 9 November 1980),[2] previously Countess Gloria von Fürstenberg-Herdringen, was a Mexican socialite and a contributing editor to Harper's Bazaar from 1963 to 1971.[3] She was photographed by Cecil Beaton, Slim Aarons, Alejo Vidal-Quadras;[4] designed for by Cristóbal Balenciaga, Elsa Schiaparelli, Hubert de Givenchy, Yves Saint-Laurent; and was also a close friend and inspiration to Truman Capote.[5]
