Emilio Giuseppe "Nino" Farina (Italian pronunciation:[dʒuˈzɛppeˈniːnofaˈriːna]; 30 October 1906 – 30 June 1966), often known by the name Giuseppe Antonio Farina, was an Italian racing driver.[3] He was the Italian National Champion in 1937, 1938, and 1939, and in 1950 became the first World Drivers' Champion during the FIA's inaugural season of Formula One.
^Total of 20 podiums includes both 2nd place and 3rd place at the 1955 Argentine Grand Prix
^Up until 1990, not all points scored by a driver contributed to their final World Championship tally (see list of points scoring systems for more information). Numbers without parentheses are Championship points; numbers in parentheses are total points scored.
