The Georgetown University Law Center is the law school of Georgetown University, a private research university in Washington, D.C., United States. It was established in 1870 and is the largest law school in the United States by enrollment, with over 2000 students.[5] It frequently receives the most full-time applications of any other law school in the United States.[6][7]
The school's campus is several blocks from the U.S. Capitol Building.[8]
Prominent alumni include 11 members of the United States Congress,[9] federal and state judges, billionaires, and diplomats.
