George Mason Graham (21 August 1807 – 31 January 1891), known as Mason Graham, was a Virginia-born lawyer, planter and educator.[1] Sometimes called the “Father of LSU,” Graham became the first chairman of the board of trustees of the Louisiana State Seminary of Learning, the forerunner of Louisiana State University.[2]
