Aïsha Vertus, known professionally as Gayance (pronounced guy-ence), is a Canadian house and electronic music producer and DJ born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. Vertus grew up in Montreal-Nord, a multicultural neighborhood in Quebec.[1] Her album Mascarade was shortlisted for the 2023 Polaris Music Prize.[2]
