Garkarud (Persian: گركرود)[a] is a village in Shabkhus Lat Rural District of Rankuh District, Amlash County, Gilan province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, the village population was 1,519 in 409 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,589 people in 474 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,443 people in 508 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
