Gahlot is a clan of Jats and Rajputs.[1][2] They ruled a number of kingdoms including Mewar, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Shahpura, Bhavnagar, Palitana, Lathi and Vala.[3][4] The variations of the name include Gehlot, or Guhila.
