Petrus Stephanus "Fanie" de Villiers (born 13 October 1964), is a retired cricketer who played 18 Test matches and 83 One Day Internationals for South Africa as a right arm fast-medium bowler and right hand batsman between 1992 and 1998.
He is currently working as an international cricket commentator. During the 3rd test match between Australia and South Africa, he played a role in identifying the cheating carried out by the Australian cricket team after they tampered with the ball to get reverse swing during the 4th day of the third test match: he had served as one of the commentators for the match and had suggested to the camera operators that they look out for possible cheating.[1]
