The Fairfield Stags softball team represents Fairfield University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC). The Stags are currently led by head coach Julie Brzezinski. The team plays its home games at Alumni Softball Field, which opened in 1999 and is located on the college's campus.[2]
