Fai Ming Estate (Chinese: 暉明邨), former name "Fanling Area 49 Public Housing Development", is a public housing estate on Fai Ming Road in Fanling, New Territories, Hong Kong, next to Yung Shing Court. It was completed in 2019 and comprises two blocks with a total of 952 flats.[1]
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hong Kong Government planned to turn Fai Ming Estate into a place to quarantine and observe people who have been in close contact with confirmed cases.[2] This caused the residents of neighbouring estates to protest against the decision.[citation needed]
