Esther Okenyuri Anyieni (born 1991) commonly known as "Essy" and locally "Nyaituga" is a Member of Parliament at the 4th Senate of Kenya, / 13th Parliament of Kenya,[1] nominated[2] by Kenya's ruling party, United Democratic Alliance.[3] She is a member of KEWOPA,[4][5][6] the Vice Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Trade, Industrialization and Tourism,[7] a member of the Senate Standing Committee[8] on Health,[9] and the Senate Powers and Privileges Committee. She is the current Deputy Secretary General of the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association,[10] and the Organizing Secretary of Kenyan Women Senators Association.[11] She is an Executive Member, Commonwealth Parliamentary Association[12] (CPA) Kenya Branch.[13]
Okenyuri[14] was gazetted as a nominated Senator [15] for Soipan Tuya,[15][16] who was[17] appointed [18] by President William Ruto,[19] EGH as the Ministry of Environment Cabinet Secretary.[20]
