Efzar Rural District (Persian: دهستان افزر)[3] is in Efzar District of Qir and Karzin County, Fars province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Shahrak-e Shomali.[5]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,693 in 1,841 households.[6] There were 7,871 inhabitants in 2,086 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,172 in 2,413 households. The most populous of its 68 villages was Mozaffari, with 1,573 people.[2]
