Edward William Carlson[1] was an American painter known specifically for his miniature portraits. He exhibited works at the Art Institute of Chicago, Arts Club of Chicago,[2] Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Kungliga Akademien för de fria konsterna) in Stockholm, Sweden,[3] National Academy of Design in New York,[4][5] Swedish Club of Chicago,[6] and the Cincinnati Museum for Art.[7]
