Dhefirin is a 1997 Maldivian film directed by Hamid Ali.[1] Produced by Aishath Abdul Majeed under Farivaa Films, the film stars Hassan Afeef, Jamsheedha Ahmed and Asad Shareef in pivotal roles.[2][3] It marks the first Maldivian film that was primarily shot in Sri Lanka.[4] The rest of the scenes were filmed in Bangkok.[4][5]
