Development and Justice Party of Islamic Iran[1] or Islamic Iran Development and Justice Party[2] (Persian: حزب توسعه و عدالت ایران اسلامی) is a conservative[3] political party in Iran, with a claimed goal of "increasing public participation in politics".[2]
Mohsen Rezai is the man behind the party, which consists mainly of Revolutionary Guard commanders who served in the Iran-Iraq War.[1] His brother Omidvar Rezai is said to have a leading role in the party.[3] Other senior members include Abdolhossein Rouhalamini[4] and Reza Talaei-Nik (both former Secretaries-General), Kamal Daneshyar and Amir-Ali Amiri.[2] The party backed Mohsen Rezai for president in 2009[3] and 2013.
