Deborah Mary Turness (born 4 March 1967) is an English journalist, former CEO of ITN (2021), and as of 2022, CEO of BBC News.[3][7] Prior to this she was president of NBC News (2013–2017) and then president of NBC News International.[8] Before NBC, Turness was editor of ITV News (2004–2013), which made her the UK's first female editor of the network news.[9][10]
