A 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m), 203 lb (92 kg) left-handed pitcher, he appeared in two Major League games pitched for the 1973 Atlanta Braves. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and attended Asheville High School in Asheville, North Carolina. He attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, after his baseball career ended.[1]
