Darasuram or Dharasuram is a neighbourhood in the city of Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India.[1] The area is known for the Airavateswara temple constructed by the Rajaraja Chola II in the 12th century CE. The temple is a recognised UNESCO World Heritage monument.
