Daniel Sánchez Ayala (born 7 November 1990) is a Spanish professional footballer who last played as a centre-back for EFL Championship club Rotherham United. His first club was Premier League club Liverpool. He joined Norwich City in 2011, and joined Middlesbrough on loan in October 2013, before joining the club on a permanent deal in January 2014. He joined Blackburn Rovers soon after a few years.
