Dalnerechensky District (Russian: Дальнере́ченский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-two in Primorsky Krai, Russia. It is located in the central and western parts of the krai. The area of the district is 7,235.53 square kilometers (2,793.65 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Dalnerechensk[2] (which is not administratively a part of the district).[1] Population: 11,344 (2010 Russian census);[4] 13,995 (2002 Census);[8] 17,057 (1989 Soviet census).[9]
