Creepy Nuts is a Japanese hip-hop duo consisting of R-Shitei and DJ Matsunaga, who made their major label debut in 2017.[2]
Their single "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born", released on January 7, 2024, as the opening theme for the second season of the anime series Mashle: Magic and Muscles, topped the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for eight consecutive weeks,[3] becoming duo's first number-one single on the chart as a lead artist.[4] It was also a worldwide hit, reaching number eight on the Billboard Global 200.[5]
The duo, who performed the opening and ending theme for the 2022 animated series Call of the Night, had a cameo performance in the anime's sixth episode.[6]
Several songs have been certified by Recording Industry Association of Japan in the streaming category, with "Nobishiro" certified platinum.[7]
