"Cooperative Calligraphy" is the eighth episode of the second season of the American comedy television series Community, and the 33rd episode of the series overall. A metafictional bottle episode, it aired in the United States on NBC on November 11, 2010.[1][2]
The episode is notable for continuing the series' Beetlejuice gag, in a character uttering "Beetlejuice", a name previously uttered in "Communication Studies" and next uttered in "Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps"; in the self-titled 1988 film, animated series, and musical, the character of Betelgeuse (Beetlejuice) would suddenly enter the scene whenever someone said his name three times, with Beetlejuice himself (portrayed by an uncredited extra) then cameoing in "Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps" immediately after the third utterance in the series' history.[3][4]

Starting with 'Cooperative Calligraphy' in season two, Community produced at least one bottle episode per season.
