It reached No. 3 on the UK Singles Charts in 1969 staying in the charts for 14 weeks.[3] It was a bigger hit in Ireland, reaching No. 2 on the Irish Charts.[4] It peaked at No. 13 on the Australian KMR [5] Chart, entering the chart in June 1969, and spent 13 weeks in the Australian Top-100.
