Chuguyevsky District (Russian: Чугу́евский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-two in Primorsky Krai, Russia. It is located in the center of the krai. The area of the district is 12,346 square kilometers (4,767 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Chuguyevka.[2] Population: 24,937 (2010 Russian census);[4] 28,913 (2002 Census);[8] 30,909 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Chuguyevka accounts for 48.8% of the district's total population.[4]
