Christina Henry (born August 13, 1974 in New York, USA) is an American novelist working in the horror and dark fantasy genre.[1] "Christina Henry" is a pseudonym of Tina Raffaele, based on her name (Tina), and the names of her husband (Chris) and son (Henry). She lives in Chicago, Illinois with her husband & son.[2] Her Black Wings series, is a national bestseller.[3] She is also noted for her retelling of classic children's tales, such as the three works in The Chronicles of Alice series (based of the Alice books of Lewis Carroll), Lost Boy (2017) from J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, and The Girl in Red (2019) based on Little Red Riding Hood.[4]
Henry had always wanted to be a writer and commented that "I always wanted to be a writer, even when I was very young. I spent most of my time living inside books and I wanted to stay there for the rest of my life."[5]
