Chief (Kgoshi) Mamphoku Makgoba[1] was a Northern Sotho (Basotho ba Leboa) Chief who ruled Makgobaskloof (often misspelled Makgoebaskloof) in the Soutpansberg, former Northern Transvaal (Limpopo province[2]), Mopani district, South Africa. His tribal totem is the Tlou of BaTlou tribe.[3]
