Known primarily for her versatile work across independent films, blockbusters and television productions, she has received numerous accolades, including two Durban International Film Festival Awards, an Osian's Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema Awards, two Asian Television Awards, three Gawad Urian Awards, two Metro Manila Film Festival Award and a Luna Award. In 2006, S Magazine named her one of Philippine cinema's best actresses of all time.[1]
