Charles Treger (May 13, 1935 – January 12, 2023)[1] was an American violinist and teacher. He studied with violin pedagogue Ivan Galamian, Szymon Goldberg, William Engel and William Kroll. He was the first and only American to win first place in the Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poznań, in Poland.
