Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC) is a full-fledged tertiary government medical college in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. S.C. Tiwari, acted as the first dean of this college. The first batch of M.B.B.S was admitted in 2009. This institute is currently being developed as the biggest centre for improving the medical teaching activity as well as higher quality health facilities for the people of entire Bundelkhand region.
The college imparts the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). Nursing and para-medical courses are also offered. Post-graduation courses (MD/MS) are offered in 11 subjects currently. The college is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University (from 2014 onwards) and is recognized by Medical Council of India. Until 2013, it was affiliated to Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar. The selection to the college is done on the basis of merit through National Eligibility and Entrance Test.[1]
