Bilavar District (Persian: بخش بیلوار) is in Kermanshah County, Kermanshah province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Qaleh.[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Posht Darband Rural District and Razavar Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Bilavar District.[3]

The census in 2011 counted 18,605 people in 5,006 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 17,069 inhabitants in 4,979 households.[2]

After the census, the village of Qaleh was elevated to the status of a city.[5]
