Berck (French pronunciation:[bɛʁk]), sometimes referred to as Berck-sur-Mer (French pronunciation:[bɛʁksyʁmɛʁ], literally Berck on Sea; Picard:Berck-su-Mér), is a commune in the northern French department of Pas-de-Calais.[3] It lies within the Marquenterre regional park, an ornithological nature reserve.
