Baraghan (Persian: برغان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Baraghan Rural District[4] of Chendar District, Savojbolagh County, Alborz province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, the population was 378, in 139 households, when it was in Tehran province.[5] The latest census in 2016 counted 470 people in 197 households, by which time the county had been separated from the province and become a part of recently established Alborz province.[6] It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
