Bakhmach (Ukrainian: Бахмач, lit. 'plantations', pronounced[ˈbɑxmɐtʃ]ⓘ) is a city located in Nizhyn Raion of Chernihiv Oblast (province), in northern Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Bakhmach urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.[1] It has a population of 16,862 (2022 estimate).[2]
