The Bahraini passport (Arabic: جواز سفر البحريني) is issued to Bahraini citizens for international travel. They are issued by the Nationality, Passports & Residence Authority, one of the earliest bodies of its kind in the region, which first issued passports in 1929.[2] Biometric passports have been started to be issued since 20 March 2023.[3]
